Monty’s Escape

Monty, an energetic golden retriever, thanks us for this one. A property that was previously bare of plants and shade was transformed into a green oasis of textures and colors. Every sun condition you could imagine was prevalent in certain areas of this property. A new walkway and set of stairs were designed and built to lead the homeowners through two shade gardens to the front door. A small seating area by the front door allows for a morning cup of coffee to be enjoyed as you’re surrounded by nature. The back patio is hugged with sun-loving shrubs and perennials with an added fire pit nuzzled into the slope of the hill. You’ll find Monty enjoying the shade of the Japanese maple, but if he’s feeling naughty, you’ll find him nibbling on the ornamental grasses. The new garden spaces and lounge areas provided the homeowners and their furry friends with a landscape they could enjoy for the rest of their lives.
